ExplainDocs (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides an online tool that generates AI-based explanations of documents submitted by users (“Service”). ExplainDocs is for informational purposes only.

ExplainDocs does not provide legal advice. Any output is AI-generated and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. You should not rely on the Service as a substitute for professional legal, financial, or other advice.
3) Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
4) Your content and responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- the content you submit to the Service (text or documents),
- ensuring you have the legal right to use and submit it,
- ensuring your submissions do not violate any laws or third-party rights.
Do not submit confidential data you are not authorized to share (e.g., someone else’s private information, secrets, passwords, access tokens).
5) Prohibited use
You agree not to:

- attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or overload the Service,
- bypass usage limits or access controls,
- submit malware, exploit code, or content that violates third-party rights.

6) AI limitations
AI outputs can contain errors and may misunderstand context. You must verify important information independently. You accept that the Service is provided “as is” without guarantees of accuracy.
7) Accounts, usage limits, and credits

- a paid subscription (“Pro”), and/or
- one-time document credits (“Pay per document”).
We may enforce limits (e.g., free usage frequency, word limits). Credits may be consumed when paid access is required (e.g., long documents, detailed mode, PDF features) based on current product rules.
8) Payments and billing
Payments (subscription and credits) are processed through third-party payment providers. Your purchase may be charged in the provider’s configured currency, and conversion may occur at checkout.
Unless required by law, purchases may be non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us with your order details.
9) Service availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time (including features, pricing, and limits). We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
10) Intellectual property

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days prior to the event giving rise to the claim (or 0 if you did not pay).

You agree to indemnify and hold ExplainDocs harmless from claims arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, unless mandatory consumer protection laws apply in your jurisdiction.
